Beautiful Restored 1978 Triumph Spitfire - Red with Black Top

I have for sale a beautifully restored 1978 Triumph Spitfire Convertible in a deep red with black interior and top. It stands out head & shoulders above any it is parked by. One of thefinest examples available anywhere currently for sale. It comes from being owned25 years by the second owners. It was restored a couple of years back after the Grandson of the second owner received it. No expense was sparedon any upgrades to this beautiful sports car at that time.All of these British Sports Cars were very fragile anddifficult to find ina solid condition these days! This Spitfire is as solid and meticulously maintained as any you could find! It has beena winner in many car shows. Thousands were invested as the condition easily shows. Motor has great power and pulls the car very well!! The upgrades make the car very reliable and a blast to drive. Starts right up and runs strong. Very solid and tight engine. Around 5,000 miles on overhaul. Highly detailed engine compartment.

Solid body and frame with no rust - Completely repainted.

Chassis sealed and under coated

Firewall stripped and matte black finish applied

Rear bumper extensions deleted, stainless hardware

Front bumper covers cut down and recessed back 3"

Headlight bucks professionally chromed

All chrome trim and hardware new

The body is extremely straight and the paint is amazing! Deep high gloss. No dents, dings or scratches. Only issue is the small paint crack on the rear deck lid from closing it on something. Can easily be corrected if wanted. have some of the original paint that will be included with the car.

Interior & Top:

New black seat covers, carpet and door panels

Wood dash has been restored with new SCCA tag

New Robbins Convertible Top wit zip out rear window

Boot in black with white piping

This Spitfire has always been lovingly cared for as the condition shows. Always garaged. A blast to drive with the top down in the summer as well as enjoying inthe upcoming fall days! There is nothing I know of it needs. I would put this Spitfire up against any in its price range and feel it could not be beaten! I have included as many pics of it as I could.
