If you know anything about these trucks, then you know that this is the rarest of rare Dodge Dakota factory production convertibles made. It is 1 of the 8 that were made in 91 to finish out the convertible production contract with ASC and Mopar. This particular truck is one of only 3 that I have ever seen in extensive searching. One was in bad shape, the other I do not know if it is an original or a retrofit. It may be the ONLY V-8 convertible ever produced by Dodge.I HAVE A CLEAN CARFAX, EMAIL FOR A COPY. I purchased this truck 2 years ago from a doctor in Oregon that babied it. I have put less that 1,000 miles on it since the purchase and it stored. This truck was at the 91 Indy 500 as Dodge was the official truck and Viper was the pace car that year. and has 4 original Indy decals on it. I believe it was originally a cooperate truck and later sold to the public. I have documentation going back 15 years along with maintenance records. I will include the original rims, instruction manuals and a boot for the top. The only problems with it are the small dings in the rear gate and bumper (see photos, circled in red), the tachometer doesn't work (I have the part and will include it) and a few small chips of paint. No mechanical issues at all and the air even blows cold air. I am selling to raise cash, but will not give it away. No lowball offers please. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction end and the rest must clear before the vehicle is released. We can secure the transaction with verified funds.
