hello,up for sale is my 2001 extended cab 8ftbed dodge ram diesel. im the second owner of this truck. i bought it back in November 2005,and have been loving it ever since. This is my personal truck(adult cared for and drivin) with no expense ever spared. It is and always has been serviced and kept up to date on its maintenance. As for the body,every panel on this truck is the factory original,with the Chrysler factorys paint job. this truck has never been crashed, it isnt bondoed up or repainted at all. from the hood all the way back it's as survivor as it gets. Look at the pictures cause it hides nothing. So as you can expect is not perfect.the 4th pic shows the worst of the clear coat starting to chalk up in a small areas..mainly that hood spot and high up on the roof.there is random chips here and there,same with dings.the only true rust is the drivers door bottom, it's gone. and if you buy this truck im including a rust free primer gray door so you have a replacment..ill also will be including new in box tow mirrors aswell. The passenger door bottom barely has rust starting on the seam, and same with gate. Not bad at all for a 17 year old. The interior is very nice the worst is the dashboard pressure cracks that all these dodges have. I'm including a mint used OEM dash pad replacement but you need to dye it cause it's light grey not agate. as for the engine and trans,the original engine was a "code 53"190hp engine block witch cracked like ALL the others,so at almost 200k miles i swapped it out for a 2001 " code55" as seen in the 11th picture, 235hp engine and harness and controller that had 157k.this is the true million mile engine.do your research on Cummins engine block codes,and ask other sellers there engine block code!! Recent new injector pump and cummins rv injectors.the transmission was replaced at 97k under factory chrysler warrenty.at 120k i installed a goerend 3 disc billet convertor with transgo tfod kit.the overdrive unit was rebuilt at 230k. the axels are recent new ring and pinion 3.54 highway gears with a power locker in the rear axel and this truck has the optional camper package including rear swaybar. has new mechman 320amp alternator with new ancor 2/0 marine grade cables, the drivers seat is heated,as well as the far back rear glass(see pic) It also has 2 250watt fuel tank heaters and factory mopar engine block heater. steering is borgeson steering box and shaft,and 3rd gen track bar.also has steering box brace.front end bushing are energy suspension. its riding on hancook load range e with about half the life left. it has hand built 1 off morimoto hid mini h1headlights.fogs are morimoto led fog lamps.not cheap stuff at all.im trying to describe the best is can.the truck drives straight,blows ice cold air,hot heat.(newer oem mopar heater core and ac evaporator replaced 2 years back)new hubs rotors pads a few moths back.viper remote start with alarm.autometer gauges. this is a amazing ram but do to life changes this truck is overkill for my daily needs. any questions just ask.thanks for reading
