1998 Pontiac Bonneville, family owned for 16 years, well cared for, not in any accidents during the time we owned it, has original paint, anything mechanically it needed was repaired each year, we did not skimp on the repairs, we wanted a dependable car and it has been, this car runs good but now the transmission needs rebuilt and is the only major issue we are aware of (transmission is shifting hard between all of the gears, not recommended that it be driven) (most transmission rebuild warranties do not transfer to a new owner, we want the person that gets this car to have a warranty). The check engine light came on last time we drove it at the same time it jerked hard shifting between 2nd & 3rd gear. We stopped driving it at that time. Just last summer it got a new rack and pinion, tie rod ends, starter, power steering hose and fluid, lower and upper intake gaskets, 4-wheel alignment and new Cooper tires ($465, we have only put 4,000 miles on since we got them). It has been parked in a garage when not in use. I have receipts for most of the repairs since we owned it. There is some rust above the rear drivers side wheel, there may be a few other small spots, but the only noticeable one is above the wheel. Radio works, but the clock does not always work and the knob to adjust the sound does not always work correctly. A small part of the head liner fabric by the rear window is starting to come down. There is a small door in the middle back seat that you can open to haul long items. It gets good gas mileage. Engine oil recently changed. Driver's seat is the only power seat and it works. A/Cworks and is cold, power windows work, power locks work, cruise control worked last time we used it and it should still be working, we can't test it at this time. Working remote key less entry with 2 key fobs. This is an older vehicle in descent shape and is for sale in as is condition. This vehicle is available for local pick-up only.
