1968 VW DOUBLE CAB PICK UP

1968 VOLKSWAGEN DOUBLE CAB BUS. Recent windows out repaint on straight accident

free bus. Long time Alabama vehicle. Interior redone with new door panels, seat covers, ect.

Completely repainted inside cab. Dash is original and sun worn but a very good correct used

dash is included in sale (ask for Photos). Reliable and strong rebuilt 1600cc motor with good

transmission. Very user friendly mechanically with recent brake job 2/2016 including:

New pads front and rear. New rear wheel cylinders. New hoses and brake lines front & rear.

New shocks front and rear. Stock steel wheels sandblasted and powder-coated with new tires.

Motor recently tuned with new plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor, fuel filter, ect.. 5/2016

Compression test also preformed at same time.

#1 = 116lbs #2 = 107lbs #3 =125lbs #4 -126lbs

Electrical system operational with working lights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, ect.

Overall a very clean reliable and very rare bay window double-cab bus. By the end of the

1960's, Volkswagen was importing very few of these, which is the reason you see more

of the earlier, split window single cab and double cab buses.
