1985 Lada 2107 1500 with 5 speed transmission

Beautiful, original and very clean early production 1985 Lada 2107 with only 26,590 original kilometers (less than 17 thousand miles !).
This car spent all of its life in Czechoslovakia where it was originally sold in 1985. It was made specifically for Czechoslovakian market in Togliatti, USSR,it is therefore of a higher quality manufacturing standards, which was common for Export-made vehicles. This example was one of the first 1100-car batch of Lada 2107s imported and sold in Czechoslovakia to a lucky first owner, a high ranking army official.
In 1985 there were over 15000 peopleon wait-list to own a brand new Lada 2107. This particular car is equipped with 5 speed transmission, which was fitted by the original dealership - Tuzex.

• 2. Factory made and equipped specifics for early 1985 Lada 2107s are:

• - grey bumpers -> early vehicles had grey bumpers, that were later changed to black

• - dashboard facings have slightly different graphics, very similar to Lada 2106 -> interesting detail, factory original
• - single rearview mirror on driver's side -> lovely detail seen on early cars
• - additionally, this car was equipped with cassette radio and beautiful, chrome wheel covers from USSR (expensive at a time with the price of 9 Roubles and 75 kopeykas)

3. Because i want to keep this car in a top running condition, just couple weeks ago this car underwent a major service:

- all new brakes front & back ( new rotors, USSR new-old stock front brake pads, refurbished front callipers, new rear drum shoes, new rearbrakecylinders, new brake hoses, replaced brake fluid)- brand new front & rear shock absorbers- new front stabilizer bushings- replaced filters and oils - engine oil+filter, transmission and differential oils and air filter- engine valveclearance set up- brand new exhaust front to back- new electric distributor with ignition coil(i kept the old one)- new spark plugs with spark cables
