2005 Ford Thunderbird Anniversary SPECIAL EDITION

Ford between 2002 and 2005 made a limited number of retro Thunderbirds to honor the original 1955-1957 T Birds. The 2005 was the last year they were made and most are labeled as Anniversary models as it was also Ford's 50th Anniversary. In 2005 they also made 1,500 Anniversary Special Editions. All of the later are cashmere in color with upgraded leather. This one is #900 of the 1,500 made in 2005. It is as new and pristine as any 2005 car can be. There is not a mar or scratch on it. It also has a brand new convertible top as the original one was in poor condition. It comes with the factoryhardtop too. This is not a Corvette killer even though it does have close to 300hp and a 5 speed automatic. Most of the interior and running gear is from the Lincoln LS. Ithas all the standarditems you would expect in a high end personal luxury car. I had a 2002 and had a lot of fun with it.Its fun just to go cruising with the top down and see where you wind up without GPS or a map.

Unfortunately due to back issues this car is too low for me to get in and out of it without a lot of pain.So I am selling it as is. I would like to keep it but as everyone knows if you don't use a car it goes down hill faster than if you drove it everyday. With the hardtop you can drive this one for as many seasons as you want. I only used it in good weather. A few times I got caught in the rain but the power top goes up fast and easy with no problems. You can check if this is a true Special Anniversary Edition as the Vin # in positions 6 and 7 has to have a 6 and 9 in them. If they don't its not a true Anniversary Special Edition.
