This is a 1984 300SD, with a little less than 156,000 miles on it. I work for a Mercedes dealer and bought this car off of a service advisor who retired and hebought it from the original owner. The vehicle has always been serviced on timeby Mercedes Technicians at a dealer, and is in pretty good condition for being a 33 year old car. Most recent workduring my ownership that wasdone to the car, were brake lines and hoses, fan clutch, thermostat, mono valve insert, oil change, and fuel filters. The car starts up without anyproblem and drives like it in 1984. The vehicle why its not perfect, itwould make a great daily driverneeding very little to make it perfect. Issues with vehicle are as follows: Front seat switches need replacement, climate control has a mind of its own (a/c blows cold, heat blows hot, I think its the climate control unit), both passenger's sidewindow regulators need to be replaced, grille is dented, has some paintchips on the trunk, and small spots where the paint is bubble on the passenger's door. Other than these small issues this isa great solid car that could be drivenas is.Iwouldlove to keep this car, but I have a few other cars and just have no use for this car.
