you will be able to get 45-50mpg without even having to charge the car. if you chose to charge the battery, it takes 2-3 hours for a full charge which will provide 13-14 Miles of range on full electric. remember that cost of electricity is about 1/3 of gasoline (even at these prices) so you will see savings from day one. car automatically switches between electric and gas so you don't have to ever worry about range. I have been able to get about 300-350 miles from each tank of gas for only 20 dollars (and that is in CA where gas is most expensive).
best of all, you will get the HOV stickers which are not issued anymore. you will be able to use the carpool lane by yourself in CA. stickers are included and are on the car. this saved me about 20 minutes a day which was priceless for me.
if you are looking for a daily driver, this is your car, save money, save time and best of all, have a fun and fairly zippy car that is built by a great company. you can't go wrong with this car.
