2008 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT-8
NO RESERVE - ARRINGTON 426 HEMI - OVER 700HP - SUPERCHARGER
Thanks for checking out my 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 First Edition #133. This is a wicked machine, with insane power, an amazingly built car from top to bottom. The early 1970 Challengers and Cudas were awesome, I've had many and there isn't one I have not wanted keep, but when Dodge told the public these were hitting the streets for2008, they knocked the ball out of the park. If you want to relive your glory days, then this is your car, but believe me, this car is more then you would have ever dreamed of in 1970. This car is a true Ground Pounder, and yes, you don't have to turn the AC off when your put your foot into it, the power is all there!!! Yep, Dodge has the new Hellcat out, but believe me, I don't think under the hood, suspension, brakes, could hold a candle toRestomodedFirst Edition Challenger SRT8!!! When this car was bought brand new, a gentleman that owned a custom paint shop, who loved performance and old school hot rods built this car. He had just finished a total restomod 1971 Cuda. I included a picture of it, so you could see the level of quality this guy performs. When these cars came out, he was like, "that is my next build" so hepre-orderedthis one you see hereand "built it" he did. This is #133 of the 6400 Challengers built for 2008, these are rare cars right out of the box. He completely repainted the car, took everything off, windows, gaskets, panels etc, and painted it a beautiful Metallic Red, it's amazing looking. When you look down the sides it is laser straight, but I am talking smooth. When new cars are built, they don't look like this, because of the hours of prep. He then went a step forward and bought a complete Arrington Crate 426 Hemi engine. If you don't know these guys, look them up- amazing work. These are the go to guys when it comes to modern Hemi's. This was a complete crate engine around $18K, but then he decided to take it another step forward, and put a Techo Supercharger on it $9K. He then had the heads sent to a shop in California, installed oversize valves, dual rockers, and had then ported and polished -$3K. This thing now pumps out over 700hp, maybe closer to 750. The previous owner said 700hp, and it was probably a modest guess. Next the owner installed a new Paramount performance Transmission $6K rated at 1000 hp, with 2800 stall converter. The list goes on... Methanol injection, Custom Tuner, K&N filter, 22" Foose wheels Staggered front to back. It did not stop there, all new suspension front and back, new Brembo 4 wheel disc brakes, etc. Take a look at the pictures, watch the video, this is an amazing car.
I was reading that this was the 3rd generation of the Challenger, I don't remember the 2nd gen honestly, had to look it up, lol. There was a lot of excitement when these cars came out. In 2008 they began production of the 3rd gen cars. You could not buy these on the dealer show room floor. All 6400 Hemi cars were pre-sold before a dealer even got one, and why not, the Hemi Challenger was back!!! The STR8s came with a respectable 6.1 L Hemi with a 5-speed AutoStick automatic transmission, but obviously that was not enough, because what you have in front of you is one awesome machine.
Take some time and view all the photos. There are a lot of them and they speak for themselves. There's a video as well. Hope that helps you see what it is, but honestly you can not capture what this car does to your body when you give it some throttle. It throws you back in the seats and holds you there. Can't capture that on camera, but believe me this car is fast, and it honestly scares me. I've never had it full throttle for more then a few seconds. I honestly don't know what this car is actually capable of. I love to go fast, but for me 0-70mph is good for me. I love short launches. The paint is in great shape, painted back in 2008-2009. Laser straight down the sides, super glossy, always garaged, no water spots, very clean. It has minor wear from being driven, but overall beautiful. The lower front air dam, on the very bottom, does have some scuffs and scraps. You can't see them unless you basically look under the car or have on a lift. Around the rear lic. plate, there is some paint cracking, and a little bit of clear pealing on the lower edge of bumper. Again, very minor, but there. You have to look close to see it. The body panels all are in great shape, doors shut nice, just a great looking car. I also have GTS headlight and taillight covers as well. They will be in the trunk of the car when transported to its new home.
The interior is in amazing condition, looks basically new with very little wear. It has power driver's side seat, dual heated seats, and lumber support, SRT seats with leather, Navigation, great radio with built in amp and sub in the trunk, A pillar gauges added as well. Interior is great. Take a look at pictures. The seats don't have any wear, photos of the interior are better in person actually, hard for some reason to take photos of black interior.
Mechanically the car is in great shape, just a few things more besides what I mentioned above. It has 30K on the odometer, starts right up, does not burn oil, or blow smoke. You see me driving it around in the video. Just a great car to drive, very smooth, suspension and braking are spot on. If you have a powerful car like this, you need to be able to stop. This car has it all. The AC blows ICE COLD, everything works. The engine runs great, lots of pull, just sounds wicked, and very jumpy, so be careful to whoever drives it. This car could get someone in a lot of trouble. I would be very curious to know what it runs in the 1/4 mile. I am not going to find out, but if the new owner ever takes it out, please let me know. A dyno test would be interesting to know as well. This car is very High Performance. There is no warranty expressed or implied on it. The tires were just put on. They are Goodyear Eagle F1 P255/35/22 front, and P285/35/22 on the rear, lots of tread. The wheels are in great shape, they have aged a little, but overall they look great. They have small chips on the spots were lug nuts have been off and on, but overall great looking wheel and tire combo. I love the staggered look. It also had a Predator tuner as well, I have never used it, so not sure how it works exactly. The washer bottle under the hood is actually a water/methanol mix that is injected automatically into the injectors. The underside is in amazing condition. Take a look at the photos, no rust no damage. Take notice of the all new suspension including Ebach adjustable shocks and springs etc.
This is what every Challenger dreams of being, and is the pinnacle of modern American Muscle cars.
With no reserve, some lucky bidder is going to get an amazing car at the end of this auction.
Anyways, if you have questions let me know I would be glad to answer. Thanks and Happy Bidding, Jason 503-910-2085

This is the 1971 Cuda I mentioned in the video, the original owner of this Challenger built this Cuda as well, just showing you the attention to detail, and thoughtfulness this guy takes when he builds cars, no expense, build them the way he likes them.
On Jul-29-16 at 13:03:25 PDT, seller added the following information:
Hi, just need to make a correction on a little information. I accidently put that the transmission was a Paramount Performance Trans, it actually is a SHR War Viking Transmission, built to 750++ HP they build some killer transmissions and folks rave about both, at the end of the day, perfect for this 426 Hemi, since it is 700++ and has a 2800 Torque Stall Converter. Anyways, these are NAG1 - 722.6 transmissions, they are 5spd Automatics. This car took a few years to build to the guys liking, the transmission was bought in 2011, which is about right for the time of build, I called SHR today and confirmed. Someone had asked if you could shut off the Methanol Injection, you can not shut that off, nor would you want to, it is not Alcohol, it is Methanol. It is a 50/50 mix Methanol/Water, and it is computer regulated, and it is there to protect high boost engines, it sprays a mist into the intake, and cools the cylinders for maximum boost, it is very good for an engine like this, which means you can run it off of pump gas, but i would still put Premium in it, you do not have to run racing fuel or anything like that. Hope that helps. Thanks, Jason
