Hollywood mogul Mark Wahlberg is always working – even in his car! And in this one-of-a-kind mastercrafted Escalade, he could watch the daily reels from his movies on an HD TV, listen to music in an audio environment rivaling a studio, surf the Internet on the built-in WiFi (with AppleTV) or kick black and play video games. The actor and producer partnered with and appeared on the TV showInside West Coast Customsto have the aftermarket auto specialists transform thisCadillac Escaladeinto the ultimate mobile office.

The episode featuring Wahlberg and his Cadillac debuted onVelocity, the “upscale male lifestyle network” by Discovery. Founded in1993,West Coast Customshas been a major player in aftermarket customization and the show stars ownerRyan Friedlinghaus.

“Knowing that Mark is a powerhouse in the entertainment industry and always on the go, he came to us needing something that would keep him working; an office away from his home base which was comfortable and fully connected,” explained Friedlinghaus.

Wahlberg’s Escalade was first stripped of its interior and then outfitted to be a stellar mobile office. An automated partitionwas added to separate the driver and passenger areas,ergonomic recliner seatswere installed in the rear,retracting tabletopsadded to create a work space, and was then equipped withDirecTVand LCD monitors.

The exterior is sheathed in black for privacy (shaved chrome, tinted windows, etc.) to uphold that classic movie star style. The Asanti wheels and upgraded suspension ensure this vehicle’s WOW factor. It really does look amazing--and that's before you sit inside.

This amazing CEO SUV was transported (covered of course) to Dallas in July 2014 and has been the mobile office of a local executive ever since. Fanatical care has been taken to maintain this beauty: mechanically and aesthetically. Maintenance has been done exclusively at Sewell Cadillac. WiFi, AV, and interior upgrades have been done by JR’s Custom Auto. Exterior perfection has been maintained by Hollywood Finishes. Professionally driven and climate-controlled garage stored—this vehicle is as eye-catching and head-turning today as it was when it was delivered to Whalberg.
