Description

For sale: A fantastic Bauer Catfish ready to finish! For those who know, the Catfish is a tube-framed roadster utilizing the complete drivetrain and suspension from a 1990-05 Miata. Miata upgrades will bolt right in, including springs, shocks, swaybars, brakes, control arms, cooling upgrades, etc. The body is a beautifully designed and made of lightweight, yet strong fiberglass (S-woven). Included in this project is a low-mileage drivetrain from a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata: 1.8L factory turbo engine, six-speed transmission, entire suspension and rear end, factory and aftermarket shocks, wiring harness, hand-made transmission tunnel, diffuser kit with aluminum slats, twin DOT aero screens, single hoop roll bar, side muffler, etc.
I had intended to complete the project a while ago, but priorities have changed and I can no longer finish.
