What we have here is a very rare 1957 dodge commercial chassis. I have yet or have I met anyone who has seen one before. I bought it on Ebay around 8 years ago. It came from the San Francisco Bay area. It had no engine or transmission in it. It was set up for a small block Chevrolet and had a mustang IFS steering system which I removed and installed a 1987 dodge Dakota clip and a super slant six cylinder engine. before installing the "new" engine (I bought on Ebay from a man in flint MI who said he bought it at auction at the Chrysler proving grounds). I followed the recommendations of the good people at Clifford performance products and had the head milled .100, installed their camshaft, intake, headers a 570 cfm Holly Avenger Carb. and last but not least their aluminumvalve cover. They claim 300hp and 325 ft lbs @1800 rpm. the 904 transmission was improved and rebuilt by Scott Martz of Berryville, VA, the rear differential is a 3.55 ratio Dakota unit. Tiltwheel, swivel seats, newam, fm, cd player, ididit shifter and gas pedal assembly top it all off. this truck runs great!any questions please callGary at 540-974-3585
