I'm selling my beloved 1982 Westy. The interior is really beautiful, with new upholstery and headliner fabric, new curtains, sisal on the floor in the cab, and a cork floor in the back for easy cleaning. You will not find a better looking van inside.
I had the top end of the engine rebuilt this past summer and have travelled less than 5000 miles on it since then. The Odometer has 87,000 miles on it, and I would estimate about 95k miles on the bottom end of the engine which is in very good shape. The Odometer and speedometer are not currently working. I have receipts for all of the mechanical work that back up my timeline for the engine rebuild.
I have also had the windows tinted, which cuts down on interior temperature and makes it easy to camp on the sly when you can't get that perfect spot at the camp site.
It also has a new stereo that was installed last July, with an alpine blue tooth cd player that can charge your phone, an amp, rear speakers, and a subwoofer in the closet.
This is an air cooled van, so when I had the engine rebuilt I put in an oil temp sensor to monitor the engine temperature. I've driven it in a lot of different conditions since then with the security of knowing that I can pull over and let it cool off when it's getting too hot.
It sleeps 4, 2 on the bottom bed, and 2 on the top. It's full of storage space.
The sink and water pump work, the stove works, the fridge does not.
As you can see in the photos it has some minor body damage.
This van has a clean title and is totally road ready.
