New 2015 Sprinter 170"wb. Refrigerated Van/Like ProMaster van

We choose to convert our Sprinters with an Authorized Mercedes Upfitter, based here in PA. They are known for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and high-quality materials. We also choose to stock Thermo-King refrigeration units. They are known for their quality, and reliability, as well as a vast dealer service network. We installed a V520 RT. unit. This is larger, more powerfulunit than most others use. In addition, hasstand-by option. This allows you to plug in the unit, say overnight, run the refrigeration unit by electric. Here are what I feel are unique/important features included in our upfit/insulation package; they use aluminum tread plate on floor, lower walls, and various impact areas at door entries. The tread plates are welded, so it will not allow moisture to penetrate into subfloor of the van, causing premature deterioration of your subfloor/insulation! The aluminum tread plate is very durable, and enables you to wash out the interior of your van. They include 2 drain-holes. Next, they use "polar panels", for sidewalls/ceiling. These panels are easy to clean, and show well. More important, these panels flex, like in a trailer/or a truck body. They will not crack at stress points over time, like sprayed in side panels do! As you know, this van will travel down many rough roads over time. All the chassis flexing causes cracks, in sprayed in sidewalls. The bonding process our upfitter uses, eliminates fasteners, and will not allow delamination. Next, they use "Insoylation", which is closed cell foam, with a high R value! Your refrigeration unit will not work as hard/ or need as much maintenance. It also enables you to maintain desired temperature better. This foam will not break down with moisture as easily as competitive brands. Last, they use a service conduit for wiring. This allows for easy access, should a light, or wiring issue occur.. most other companies do not offer this unique feature!
