1970 Ford Mustang convertible.Very rare car with very interesting history. The car was specially built, fully loaded for Henry Ford 11 to be exported to the UK for him to use on a vacation here, but his vacation was cancelled unexpectedly. The Marti reports show this Mustang to be One of One.Bought by British graphic designer Derek Birdsall, the car spent some years in London and swapped for a snooker table by Harri Peccinotti photographer for works such as Pirelli Calendars published in 1968 & 69 who took it to France and eventually came back to the UK to be restored. We have 2 Marti reports, the original green log book, original build sheet and letters from the first owner.it has now been restored as close to the Marti report as possible, after sitting for over 25 years. This car is a very low mileage (38,000) numbers matching (all tags in place). 351Cleveland four barrel auto, with LSD, power hood, power disc brakes, power steering, black with white deluxe interior and white top. The car has had thousands of pounds spent on the restoration over four years. It has a brand new hood, full interior, fuel tank, brakes, wiring, wheels and tyres etc. etc. etc. and is now on the road. It drives really well and we use it weekends etc. There is lots of paper work and photos of the build which will all go with the car.Sadly, we have now decided to sell the car as it does not get used enough, and as we have other cars as well. The Mustang is open to any inspection and we can help with shipping if needed. For more information telephone Paul 011 44 771 039 2568
