1974 BMW 2002 2dr sedan. Atlantic blue. A/C and sunroof car.. A/C components are intact yet inoperative. Vehicle has rustrequiring metal repair. Paint is poor condition, faded in appearance. Interior requires refurbishment. I have owned this '02 for approximately ten (10) years. This car has had a good life and has not been significantly altered from new. There are some period correct changes such as door cards and rear deck were long ago cut for speakers (still operable). The radio is a period correct cassette deck. The radio works and I imagine the deck does also. Extensive maintenance, service, and ownership history in an important part of this car. This is a very good older BMWthat has a fair degree of rust that is absolutely manageable to the right buyer. I have always preserved and maintained the car well. It has been garaged while in my care. I do not drive the car during winter months or rain. I currentlydrivethe car daily. With the exception of a failed starter a couple years past this '02 has never failed to start for me. Due to health issues I am unable to sustain stewardship. Health forces sale. I will have the compression numbers in a day or two and will post the results. The car has been serviced by myself and/or Motorsports of Lexington. The car drives welland performs mechanically to a good degree. Second gearsyncro's function properly. Motorsports of Lexington recently replaced plugs, points, etc., set timing, and conducted the aforementioned compression test. Vehicle is sold "As Is, Where Is."
