After being in hibernation since 2005, the 2011 Porsche Turbo S made its triumphed debut back on the market. This would be the first time that the Turbo S would not be available in manual (PDK Only), but with 530hp and 0-60 sprint in 2.6 sec’s, no one was really crying. I have as you may see had my butt in a good amount of Porsche’s, and I can say that when the turbo S came back to the scene that I was a bit dismayed that there was no manual option. After about 5 min in my 2011 Rivera Blue Turbo S I can tell you I never thought about it again! This car is so well put together that I believe changing it to a manual would only hurt the experience. The PDK unit is tuned so finely to this chassis that it makes anyone feel as if they are a F1 driver. The experience of this car is unlike any other Turbo Porsche experience I have ever had, the ability to put everything in normal driving mode and drive it like I would a S class Mercedes, and then with a push of the Sport Plus button unleash an un-holy monster that I could have not imagine existed two seconds prior. Porsche really put a lot of thought and hours into making this a Grand Touring(ish) car, with the ability to push a single button and make it the meanest turbo you have ever dared pushed the accelerator in. This is a True “WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING” Porsche, as most were expecting a more sedate car than the previous 996 offering.

The creation you see before you screen is that of true amazement, on top of the already for mentioned Turbo S Platform! As you can see this car is bathed in Rivera Blue, Only 9 were known to be produced in this color and as far as we know they have not come back to the market for re-sale, so this is the first of the 9 to come to market! And as you can see from the below build sheet the car started it’s life as an EXTREMELY HEAVY OPTIONED CAR! The first thing to remember is that ALL FACTORY PARTS ARE IN BOX’S AND AVAIALBE, MOST HAVE ZERO MILES ON THEM ! The first and most notiable change is to the wheels, the factory color matched wheels were taken off in favor of these custom made HRE’, not another set is out there in this configuration! The suspension was given a massage with upgraded front and rear springs and front and rear adjustable sway bars. The attention was then turned to the car’s already amazing performance, a europipe exhaust was employed to further assist in the exit of exhaust gasses (lighter than factory) and it also functions perfectly with the factory exhaust diverters. Secondly the car received some air flow assistance from IPD in the form of an upgraded Intake Plenum to help move air to the engine smother an in more volume. Now that the car was flowing a bit more freely GIAC was turned to to remap the ECU to optimize the new gained air flow and exhaust upgrade. Lastly to help the turbos operate more efficiently and at lower temperatures Champion Upgraded Intercoolers were installed along with upgraded Shark Werkz intercooler piping. This total package produces an amazing combination of blinding performance without the loss of the amazing factory reliability and ride quality. The only interior upgrade done to the car was a GMG bolt in Roll Cage painted a custom color. The exterior of the car received a major upgrade in the rear quarters, in the place of the Factory S deck lid the owner opted to us a FACTORY GT2 RS DECKLID AND REAR CARBON SPOILER!!! The deck lid and Spoiler are 100% factory and was fitted with all factory parts all the way down to the bolts, nuts and spacers. The total package of this car is something of sheer amazement and has rightfully been dubbed “TURBO RS” on the rear deck lid.
