Restored 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7

This restored cougar has been beautifully repainted in its original and correct Tiffany Blue. This is a very rare and desirable color combination. This cougar was born and raised in CA and is rust free.

The engine has been upgraded to the powerful 351 Cleveland with an aftermarket performance Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and intake manifold. Paired with a Pertronix Flame-Thrower distributor and coil. Dual side exhaust with Glasspack mufflers. The engine is extremely strong and responsive and sounds absolutely awesome. The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears.

New braking system, new tires that match the original whitewall, new weatherstripping. The car has the original spare tire.

This cougar is a really head turner both in looks and sound

The XR-7 model brought a simulated wood-grained dashboard (that is in great shape) with a full set of black-faced competition instruments and toggle switches, an overhead console, and a T-shaped shifter with a center console.
