Up for bid is my 1965 convertible Mustang. I have owned the vehicle for 20 years and I am the third owner. It is a later 1965 production model, built in San Jose California, and has just under 112,000 original miles. It has the original engine and transmission. As you can see by the pictures it's not perfect. It has a few small paint nicks, a couple slight thread tears in the interior, and a couple of slight cosmetic rust spots. Other than that, it is in exceptionally good shape considering it's over 50 years old. The convertible top was replaced a couple of years ago and still raises up-and-down electronically just fine. It has been garage – kept the entire time. The old Ford C4 transmission still shifts well and is tight. The 289 runs well and I have taken care of it mechanically. It still has the old points and condenser set up, which I have kept tuned up over the years. I have most all the repair records going back to the previous owner. I really hate to part with it, because it has given me and my family some wonderful memories over the years. However, I must sell it due to some debt that I need to pay off. It breaks my heart, but I really hope she'll go to someone who will take at least as good of care of it as I have. Good luck on the bidding and thanks for looking!
