2006 Chevrolet 2500HD 4x4 Short Bed: 360 hp/650 lb-ft torque LBZ Duramax, Allison 1000 6-speed transmission, AC, power door locks, manual windows, cruise control, extending tow mirrors, locking rear differential (part of Z-71 package), factory step rails, drop-in Duraliner bedliner (bed is not beat up although paint is scuffed by the bedliner), genuine GM cabin-filter kit installed (not even an option on these trucks since 2003, and Du-Ha under-seat storage box.
Good condition: approximately 195K miles, door dings on driver side door, driver's seat is worn (as usual - protective seat covers from The Seat Cover Store included) but not torn, recent Goodyear Wrangler Armortrac 245-75x16s andBilstein 5100 monotube shocks.
I am the second owner; this vehicle was a very well maintained company truck (maybe a supervisor's truck?). Truck has several door dings most on driver's door - see pics.
Maintenance since I have owned it include:recent engine and transmission oil change with filters; OEM air filter; OEM fuel filter;accessory belt, idler and tensioner; all u-joints checked (R&R driveshafts to inspect); steering components checked (replaced by previous owner); new accessory belt and idler/tensioner pulleys.Recently removed radiator and cleaned/rodded out cooling fins in radiator, intercooler, AC condenser and trans oil cooler, also cleaned/rodded out cooling fins on fuel cooler. Transfer case drained and refilled with Mobil 1 5-30 +one quart overfill as suggested by Rockland Standard Gear (http://www.rsgear.com/articles/2007_03.pdf). Has spare, jack and all tools. Runs, rides and drives perfect, quiet on the road. Should have known better than to buy a short bed, I need a long bed.
