This car has been nicely restored. Brilliant white paint and red leather interior with white piping. Under the bonnet it is show quality clean with correct details down to the correct hose clamps. Being a BN1 it is fitted with the very rare 3-speed gearbox with electric overdrive.
This car has been in California most of its life and has been restored to original. I have the British car registry in hand and the chassis and engine numbers match the certificate. This car is a beautiful show car and has not been used for any other purpose in over fifteen years. I have the history on therestorationincludingreceiptsand lot of pictures. The car has less than 1000 milessincerestoration.
The only items that are not stock are the reproduction bullet side mirrors that are mounted in the side screen hole so not to damage the car. The electric fan and the modern mechanical rear seal at the back of the crankshaft.
In preparation for sale the following work has been done to the car includes: New Tires, water pump, hoses, fan belt, fuel pump, brake master cylinder, brake hoses and fuel lines. Between restoring another car and buying a sailboat I have not driven the car much in the last two years and I wanted to insure it is safe and in top condition.
Being a 62 year old car it is being sold "As is, where is" with no warranty. I am open to an escrow transactionhowever you must (or have someone)validateandaccepttheconditionof the car'sconditionbefore it is shipped. I can not ship the car for your inspection. The car is registered incalifornia, you are responsible for requirementsto register the car in your state.
