Description

This is a unique car in excellent condition, although unassembled. I have tried to do an inventory of the parts and I believe it complete, especially the rare and unusual items.
The body is solid except for a small rust hole about 3" dia on the lower aft edge of the left front fender, see photos. It also has a dent in the rear below the spare tire fitting probably not visible when assembled. The under side of the car has been media blasted and painted. This car has a continental kit spare tire, the bumper and fittings and cover are with the car. The windshield and backlight are good. The tail lights are with the car. The body has Pinin Farina badges.
The engine is a Nash twin carb inline OHV six cylinder. Both carbs and the fittings, linkage and air cleaner are with the car. The engine is not the original, it came from a 1955. It is very clean inside and out and turns easily. The generator and starter look rebuilt. It needs motor mounts. The transmission is an automatic, very clean and painted, unknown condition. The shifter lever moves and clicks as it should.
The dash is complete and in fair condition. The sun has caused some degradation in the top surface. The headliner top bows are in the car. The door panels and rear side panels are all in the car with arm rests. The seat frames have been media blasted and painted.
This is a unibody car with coil rear springs and torque tube driveline. It has an unusual independent front suspension using strut-like springs. Also the water pump is driven through the generator on a common shaft, it is 6 volt pos ground. In my opinion this car is a candidate for restoration rather than customization or resto-mod. This is why I am selling the car I prefer to do resto-mod projects.
