1999 saturn SL

This car was my daughter's car during her last 2 years of college in upstate NY. very reliable even in those awful winters. bought this car from a used car dealer 2 yrs ago with 124k miles. now has 148k. the only thing i put into it was a new starter, rotors and brake pads, and a new kenwood stereo w/bluetooth and hands free. tires are good, body and interior very clean for a car of this age though the interior headliner is sagging. my daughter says she was getting around 30 mpg. it's a very basic car. the only power option is the doorlocks w/remote (less stuff to go wrong).had it listed a few weeks ago but had to pull it when my son decided to use it for few weeks before he got his motorcycle. it's also listed locally so even though this is a 3 day auction, i might end it sooner.in the last few weeks, the check engine light has come on and off a few times. probably a fouled O2 sensor but if you time it right, it should pass an inspection. car runs very well. had it checked out by a mechanic and he said it could use a new flex pipe and that it's probably time to replace the engine mounts. if you are looking for reliable, basic transportation, this car is great.
