Description |
---|
2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It has 124,000 miles, but will go up because its a daily driver, the 250 horse power 4.6 liter Flex Fuel V8 motor, 4 speed auto transmission with traction control, power windows, power locks, power adjusting foot pedals, cruise. The heat is hot and the Cold is cool, so it may need a recharge in the future. Starts right up every time. I have added new seat covers, floor mats, center console, and 17 inch hub caps to reduce the cop car appearance as much as possible. It is silver and have painted the grill to match. The tires are in ok condition. The disk breaks are good. These vehicles are very safe to drive with front and side impact air bags. Runs good when it is warmed up. The transmission shifts a little hard going from 1st to 2nd gear, but that issue is when it is cold. When the transmission is warm, it's fine and shifts good. No check engine lights on. TPS sensor is on. I have taken it to the mechanic and they said that the transmission may be something as simple as doing a complete flush, changing a sensor, changing the torque converter or needing a trans rebuild, the most extreme. (I have already replaced the valve body, but that was not the issue) Honestly, I am not looking at making money, I just need a truck. It was an ex-cop car so it still has decal residue on the sides and mounting/light holes on A-Pillar and on the top of the car. (GREAT UBER CAR)
