For Sale 1978 Ford Mustang II ORIGNAL King Cobra, THIS CAR ISMOSTLY STOCKauto, rebuilt v8 302, original block,, trans, posi rear end. I have owned this car for the last 25 years and now it is time to sell. It is about 85-90% complete. More information and pictures available upon request. Cash only. Buyer responsible for pick up. No trades. Garage kept for the last 17 years.
The car was original since I purchased in 1988 up to 2004. The body work and paint was in 2004. The block and crank is original, the heads are HO with 1.94 valves, pistons are flat top 10:1 compression, Edelbrock intake, Holley four barrel, Electric fuel pump. Mallory ignition, Griffin aluminum 3 row radiator, Heddman headers, new exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, Fiberglass cowl hood and rear bumber, front bumper oem and is not painted. Transmission was rebuilt with heavy duty clutches and valve body, B&M shifter, Grant steering wheel, Auto Meter gauges. Six point roll bar, bucket seats, five point harness. Differential is serviced and replaced the ring and pinion with a Posi kit. Traction bars. Complete brakesystem was replaced with all original components. I have some weatherstripping, needs about 50% of it. I also have the front air dam painted, needs to be installed. I have been working on this car for years. Due to life circumstances I never finished it and now I am ready to sell it. It starts and drives, I will be tuning it soon to make it test drive ready. Let me know if you have any further questions.
