1967 PONTIAC GTO
This is a well documented Pontiac GTO. There is PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) documentation with a window sticker. The highlight of this vehicle's documentation is that it comes with the original dealers jacket, original owners manual, original warranty card, the original sales contract and the original fountain pen that was used to sign the contract.
This Pontiac retains its numbers matching "WT" coded 400 engine and has a 4 barrel carburetor. The original manifolds are used in conjunction with a new dual exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers. The 4 Speed transmission shifts effortlessly and is smooth. The rear axle is "YH" coded Safe-T-Track with a 3:55 gear ratio. This car is also equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. The car runs and drives great and is a joy to drive. The wheels on this car are a set of the rare Mickey Thompson alloys that were very popular during the time era of the 60's. There is a sales add from 1967, which promoted these very wheels in the picture that will go with the vehicle when it is sold.
The exterior of this GTO is extremely nice and laser straight. The color of this GTO is Signet Gold and it has a black Cordova top. The chrome trim and bright work of this car are in excellent condition and compliment the shine of the paint very well. The red line spare tire and the original trunk stickers remain intact in the trunk, which is detailed out very nicely.
The interior seems to be all original with the exception to the carpet and floor mats. This GTO was ordered with the bucket seats and console with the rally gauge cluster and tachometer, all of which function properly. The seats are original and are in very nice condition with the exception of some minor sun fading on the rear seat from the back glass, as well as a small 4" section of piping which is showing on the drivers seat. The interior is equipped with the original seat belts that are still intact.
Overall, this is a very nice and original, matching number car with PHS and dealer documentation. This Pontiac GTO is in excellent condition and can be driven with ease to any show where it would easily place or win.
