Description

****Relisted. Payment never received***
I purchased this 1995 BMW 530i V8 from a BMW dealer in September 2015. It belonged to the owner and he was saving it to restore. The car was not running and I had it towed to my house. One new OEM fuel pump, OEM fuel filters, belts, plugs, and it started right up!
I don't know much on the history of this car but I know that it has not been registered or driven since 2005. It has very low miles and in great condition. When I started this project, I replaced almost every sensor on the car with the exception of the speed sensors. I cleaned them but did not replace them. Other replacement OEM parts include a clutch fan, transmission module, TSC module, and PVC valve. The originals modules will come with the car also. The engine block was replaced by BMW due to a recall at 23K miles.
The transmission was serviced and cleaned but was stuck in 3rd gear when driving in automatic mode; almost like a trans limp mode, but the car never displayed the code. I took the car to a couple of places and was told to drive it and it should start shifting. However, I could drive the car in manual mode and it drove fine. I got the idea to add Lucus Transmission additive to loosen up the gears since it hasn't been driven and now it slips... With the slipping, it now sends the car into limp mode. I simply do not have the time, energy or space to work on the car any longer. It needs a paint job, tires, and perhaps a transmission. I'm not exactly sure on the trans. It could simply need another flush with new fluid. All original BBS rims with caps! Spare is on the car and will need a tire as well.
The Traction Stability Light is on and was on when I purchased the car. I have replaced all of the parts associated with this particular issue and the light will not go out. I'm sure something needs calibrated but again, no time to figure it out.
Clean new title, carfax which come with the car and all the information that I got from the dealer.
