This is a 1965 Rambler Ambassador. It has a 287 V-8 and automatic transmission. The car had been parked in a garage since 1994. The odometer show 51, 719, but I am sure it has at least 151,719 miles or more on it.I brought it home with the intentions of restoring it, but now have another project I want to put my time into. The interior is faded and is some type of velour material. The motor has the carburetor off of it and it has one stuck valve. The brakes do not work. There has been some older body work done on it around the quarter panels and it will need to be redone. The only rust holesappear to beinside the trunk at the inner fender well on the drivers side. I tried to show this in the pictures. I have not been underneath the car, but the floors seem solid and the trunk is solid. I have not even cleaned it since I brought it home. I just pushed it into the garage and that is where it has sit. It does have the carburetor and valve covers with it, just not installed. The former owner told me he knew the carb needed rebuilt and thought that was the reason they stopped driving it. I do have a clear title in my name and I am selling this as is. The car is located in West Frankfort, IL 62896. Please ask any questions and I will try to answer them. Thanks for looking!
