This auction is for a beautiful 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Unfortunately, the owners of this sweet ride are divorcing and the car must be sold. This is NOT a stock motivated Bird. She has a VERY healthy 400 in her.
First the good:
* Very good paint with a couple of minor dings (see close-up pics)
* Built 400 engine. 525 HP. Jim Butler 6X cast iron heads. Roller set-up. 9.5:1 compression. Big lumpy cam. MSD Ignition. Mallory Unilite Distributor. Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake.
* Electric Fuel Pump to feed this Beast.
* Beefed up Automatic Transmission.
* Functional Shaker Hood Scoop.
* Restored Seats, Headliner and Carpet.
* Power Windows.
* Traction Bars on rear (And it needs them!)
* A/C car, but not hooked up.
* Pioneer CD Player.
Now the not so good:
* As mentioned, there are a couple of minor dings (see close-up pics). I had to look hard to see them myself.
* The rear spoiler has some flaking paint (see close-up pic)
* Some cracking on dash pad.
* The drivers sun-visor is missing.
I am selling this for the ex-wife, so I'm afraid I don't have the exact specs on the hi-po modifications. I just know this isn't a car for thesqueamish. I just wish I had a way of letting you hear it run.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Be sure to ask any questions BEFORE you bid. We consider all bids legally binding.
We will listen to any reasonable offer. Don't waste your and our time with any low-ball offers.
A deposit may be paid through Paypal. The balance must be cash, cashiers check or bank transfer.
Don't miss this chance to get a bargain on a true Hot-Rod!
GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!
