I'veloaded a few pics through ebay and alot more after this text so please give them all a minute to load.1961 Chevy C20, Original paint utility truck, its hard to believe this could have stayed this solid, the only thing I can think of it was probably stored indoors. Inside the wheelwells still have the factory green paint in places. The Undercarriage is rock solid, no rust through or previous repairs. Not sure of the engine displacement but apears to be newer than 1961 and it runs good, the three speed shifts great. We just added a custom 4 corner airride suspension all done by the best in the air suspension business, no BS wiring and leaky valves. All the airride works flawlessly. We installed new lower ball joints, modified the control arms to do away with the torsion bar suspension and accept an airspring. In the rear we removed the 8 lug rear diff and rebuilt a 1969 C10 rear end with all new bearings and a new 3.73 gear. We notch the frame to let the truck sit as low as possible without cutting into the original nearly perfect utility body. On the front, new drop spindles were installed that gave us disc brakes and a 6 lug rotor. Under the hood we made a custom bracket to install a new power brake booster and master cylinder from MBM along with an adjustable brake proportioning valve from wilwood. Because of the new power brake set up, we had to custom mount a new wilwood hydraulic clutch master cylinder and we plumbed all the hand formed brake lines. While doing the air suspension chassis work, we added new shocks and shock mounts, new outer tie rods, we picked up some clean California 1/2 ton 6 lug wheels with new tires and a set of very nice original c10 hub caps. The truck has no serious mechanical issues, it drives good, could use an upgrade to power steering, some weatherstripping and maybe a turn signal switch. I think its cool as hell just the way it is but can you imagine it with a modern LS engine, cold AC, and PS? It would be the ultimate work truck. Selling as is or can build to fit your needs, ie: AC, V8, PS etc. . Any questions text 216-789-1647 or email PatinaPlantation@gmail.com
