This is a 1998 Mustang Cobra Convertible with Dealer installed Roush options. I have paper work between the initial purchaser and Roush indicating the upgrades that were requested/added to car. The upgrades include-Vortech supercharger, Roush suspension, and Roush ground effects with side exit exhaust.
The next owner, my neighbor I purchased the car from, installed 03/04 cobra seats and wheels, a new convertible top, steeda billet knobs, 42lb injectors, auto meter pillar gauges of air-fuel and boost, smaller pulley on supercharger, s351 Saleen Spoiler, BBK headers, Roll bar w/brake light. 4.10 rear gears. Dyno'd at 411 HP and I think around 360 TQ. that was with 12-13lbs of boost
Since I purchased this car in 2007, I have upgraded the block/bottom end with a built Coast High Performance block/internals, its a 4.6 liter stroked to a 5.1 liter its designed to handle over 800hp. The heads were worked on and opened. I had Ferrea valves installed and brass guides installed. While apart I had a heavy duty oil pump installed with an oversized MMR oil pan. The intake and heads were powder coated black. All engine work was completed by/through Street Lethal Performance in Edinburg PA. The supercharger was sent back to Vortech and rebuilt. I also had a centerforce dual friction clutch installed along with 3.90 gear and a Yukon Dura Grip 31 spline diff. Right now that car has 438 HP and 387 TQ @ rear tires, I have the dyno sheets. This is at 6-7lbs of boost.
I have had this car for almost 10 years now and I barely drive it, I have invested 10's of thousands of dollars into this car so I could have the fastest, best, sharpest.. whatever you want to call it and I have never tracked it because I was afraid of damaging it. The paint is in good shape, there are a few scratches in the paint from stones and a few scratches from it just being in the way in the garage while moving things. I can not find any rust any where on this car, it sits inside all year unless I wash it or drive it. The worst mark is in the pictures from my dog, its on the front left/passenger fender.
