The R 100 transmission has had the following modifications: High capacity oil pan. High horsepower triple clutch torque converter. Pressure and shift speed increase modifications. Face sprag replaced w/ drum sprag w/ roller thrust bearings on 3rd gear. All snap rings in transmission upgraded to spiral except 2 large ones in case holding pump. Mobil 1 synthetic oil in transmission. (since truck was new) The above modifications cure all the problem those R 100 transmissions had at that time. Even over the mtns. on US 50 in NV, gross 28,0000, at 105° F in summer, trans. never exceeds 155° Aluminum wheels - 265/75/16 - 10 ply tires. Make and thread depth: LF Cooper 16/32, RF Cooper 16/32, LR Hercules 11/32. RR, Hercules 10/32, spare Bridgestone 14/32. Manifold pressure, exhaust gas temperature, transmission temperature gauges. New brake pads front & rear. Mobil 1 15/50 synthetic oil in engine w/ puraDYN by pass filter system. Electric trailer brake control, gooseneck and bumper 2 5/16 hitch balls, w/ NTA sockets at both. Extendable electric controlled mirrors w/ expanded view bottoms. Airtab wind control vortex generators. Cab lights. (5) Windshield bug deflector on front of hood. No rust, truck was Ziebarted when new, No oil or water leaks. Challenger aluminum locking tool box in 8 ft bed w/ full bed liner. On board electric air compressor w/ Lincoln style air quick coupler on rear bumper. Firestone in spring air bags w/level control on front axle - Stemco oil hubs on front wheels. Firestone air bags (all but 3 leaves of rear springs removed) - level controls both side rear axle. Ride height automatically maintained regardless of load - truck rides like a car even empty. Air conditioning, tilt wheel, tachometer, oil, temperature, volt and fuel gauges. Grease fittings on ball joints & driveshaft u-joints. Superchips Max Tuner Model 1705 - Micro tuner goes with truck.
