EMAIL me with any questions!
I bought this in hopes of restoring it, however my wife does not see my vision. So I have been told it has to go.It crushes me to have to sell it.I have receipts for this FJ60 from since 2005. I have not owned it all of that time, but I have a solid book of receipts. All of the major work that has been done, and mentioned here I have full receipts for these, including the mileage they were done at. in the last 20,000 miles there has been well over 10K worth of work done.I bought this up in NH and brought it home to Virginia and it has sat in my garage since. Before I had it the last owners drive it about 5000 in the last 3 years based on the work done and who owned it.
Vehicle currently has 275176 miles, however as noted below, the engine, clutch, radiator, carb were done (5236 miles ago), The head about 20K ago.
A few things that have been done 5236 (@269940) miles ago.
Rebuilt engine (see receipt)New CarbNew clutchNew radiatorNew Oil PanFront end rebuilt (new gaskets, seals, bearings, brakes and hard lines)new rotors and calipers.
At 255315 (about 19861 miles ago)The head was redone.I can say this does not leak oil anywhere. As said it has been in my garage for several months and there is not a drop of oil on the floor.
Runs well and shifts like it should.Has an OME suspension kit with the light/medium Dakkar springsCustom side steps/ “sliders”It is blue and could use a paint job at some point. Lower ¼ panels and hood were painted with bed liner before I got it. I can understand why as it is tough and protected it from the harsh wintersOriginal jack, jack handle/ bar and most of the tool kit.Interior is good (could use a deep clean), normal small tear on driver’s side (see pic) no other damage to seatsHeadliner is good (could use a clean) and not sagging. Carpet could use a deep clean or replacement. All pieces are there including the often lost rear tailgate piece.Door panels are good and unmolestedIt is the blue/ grey interiorDash is crackedHas the original radio (no idea if it works)Someone put a 3 gauge cluster on the door pillar (looks like crap) and it goes with it, however original gauges from what I can see work. This can be removed easily as it is just on top of the A pillar.Tuffy console with a radio in it (also have a good original style console)Has a marine sears gel battery installed with a custom stainless steel hold down (I have the original hold down as well)5 x 33" BFG tires. Spare looks new. the other 4 i would say 50-60% life left
3 points of rust:right rear wheel well (you can sort of see this in the pic)Upper tailgateLeft rear door (little spot on wheel well as well)The frame has been coated with a type of oil and is solid (so rare these days, especially east coast vehicle) with no rust or holes that I can fine, and I looked very well.
Brakes are perfect and this thing stops. It runs well and just needs a new home.
Spares I have1 new alternator (bought as a spare)1 rear bumper (not perfect) + end caps1 front bumper (not perfect) + end capsNew Windshield, side windows and rear window sealsRear license plate light and coverFront and rear 4:11 third members (complete)New shift knob (OEM Toyota)Heavy duty headlight harness upgradeOriginal style console.Un-welded rear bumper with tire swing found on IH8Mud. Includes all parts pre cut (laser cut) Includes instructions
Also I will throw in a brand new Eastwood 110V 135A Mig welder. This is brand new never used. You get the welder, cart and auto darkening helmet. All brand new. Also included is a Hayes manual and a paper copy of the Toyota body shop manual (this includes the transmission and engine)
Figure it out, with all of the parts (est well over $1500). The rebuild engine, clutch, head front end rebuild. You are looking at another 9K with labor. You’re getting a free body and chassis.I have receipts for everything so bid with confidence.
A $500 deposit is required immediately after the auction is over.Full payment in 72 hours, unless we agree on something (i.e. your brining cash)I would like it out of my Garage in 7 days after the auction ends.Payment is simple. You have two choices.1. Paypal. I like this as you can just pick it up and go.2. Cash (less the deposit)
Pickup only in Leesburg, VA. If you want it shipped this is something you have to arrange, as I do not have the knowledge or the time to do this.
