Cosmetic Impressions

Car is as clean as a whistle. No door dings or significant scratches to dampen your enthusiasm. A small scuff on the lower spoiler will be reparied prior to delivery. Suprisingly few chips or imperfections to be found anywhere.

Interior has no signs of excessive wear or rough treatment. Door panels, console, dash, front/rear seats, and carpets all look fresh. No signs car was ever smoked in. Really nice condition overall. Looks like a two year old well cared for car.

Driving and Mechanical Impressions

All it takes is a turn of the key to appreciate the near fanatical appeal of V8 Mustangs. Oh, that engine! Glorious sounds. The rumble at idle, and sprited growl as the RPM's climb on the tachometer. The aural symphony and tactile feedback make the Mustang GT irresitable.

Excellent acceleration, handling and solid braking perfomance--are all what you would expect from a premium Mustang GT. This particular example delivers in spades. Defintely one of the most fun cars you can drive for the money. During our pre-sale test loop, the car ran perfectly, with excellent manners during a wide range of driving environments. No alignment issues or transmission slippage. Air bag recall completed by Ford dealer with paperwork included.

Put simply, Mustang fans will be easily drawn to this car, and some devoted to other brands will be seduced as well. Tremendous value, in one of the nicer looking versions of the Mustang built in the past 15 years.

Market Report

The Mustang GT has been a resale value champ for a long time, especially with low miles and a solid ownership history. California package adds leather and other options, plus a bit of rarity. We checked Car Max, Ford dealers and other independent listing sights, and found very few 2009 Mustang GT CS versions in the marketplace. When compared to other base GT V8 models, the low miles and condition also set our car apart. Our market appraisal values this model at $18,500-$19,000 retail. We have set our price below that figure, and have included our limited drive train warranty and new tires if it meets our listed target price.
