1955 Cameo Carrier Chevy Chevrolet Pickup Truck custom Hotrod

Up for sale is a rare anddesirable 1955 Cameo Pickup. Only a little over 5000 were produced that year and barely 10,000 total were built when production ended in early 1958. This was the firstfleet side pickup made and GM pulled out all the stops when they penned this production custom.
This particular Cameo has had some tasteful modifications while still maintaining its Cameo heritage.
The engine was upgraded to a 1988 350 injected Corvette SBC. Numbers on the front pad indicate VO 830 ZMD Flint-08/30/1988 L98-8 Corvette
Transmission is an automatic Lokker shift
rearend is original
Front brakes updated to disk brakes with a booster. Original drums included.
Wheels converted to Chevrolet 5 lug with Chrome reverse. Original wheels and Cameo hubcaps included.
Appears this truck was never rusted ordamaged other than a new steel front hood and visor which was replaced in the last year. Hood badge included. Paint is nice user friendly condition but by no means showquality. Inside of the cab still shows original paint. Fiberglass is nice.
The truck was lowered by dropping the original front axle and alowering spring kit in the rear. Work done by GasAxe Garage.
Air conditioner needs a new compressor.
