Description |

Original SS427 Convertible. I bought this out of a 8 year storage in 1982 with 38,000 miles on it. Stored since 1974 and was NEVER driven in the winter by the original owner.
I have driven it through 26 States..cruised through Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, California, etc.
It is the best car I have ever owned ( over 300 )
I have replaced the following with original type parts: top, seat skins, exhaust, paint.
The tires are now T/A 15" and wheels are 7" on the front and 81/2" on the rear.
The rear brakes are original and all the front end is original except brake pads.
It has the 427/ 390 horse automatic option, tilt wheel, power windows and top, and the usual SS options like front and rear sway bars, bib disc brakes up front. Bucket seats, remote mirror, etc.
Just a note; all 1969 Impala SS cars were fitted with 427 engines...nothing else.
I have only entered two Super Chevy shows..1990-Sears Point and 2013-Edmonton and drove the car to them...won top 5 in show both times.
You can fly here and drive it home, it is ready to drive anywhere. I can also deliver it via driving it or enclosed trailer, after we talk it over.
This is a GREAT CAR is not restored, just a survivor, and you should not delay if you are looking for this model...NOT COBBLED-UP ...NOT RESTORED...ORIGINAL!!
