This is a rare 1952 Commander 2 dr hardtop. Beautiful body styling. First year of the overhead valve V-8. 3 speed transmission with the overdrive option. Optional overide bumper gaurds. Fender skirts. Radio. Underseat heater. This is not a restored car, but a really nice original. Motor runs great. Starts right up, no smoke. (has a oil drip/leak) Transmission shifts nice. Overdrive works . Has the hill holder. All the gauges work as they should. Wipers, etc.....The radiator was upgraded to a new aluminum unit. Paint is 30 years old and has chips and such. But still shines and presents well. Solid floors and underbody. But its 50 years old and not rust free. Bumpers are nice, have been rechromed. A lot of the interior is orig, I believe the seats were recovered at one time. The car runs and drives down the road great. Shows 60,000 orig miles. Its a very nice looking car and the two tone paint looks great on it. The colors fit the car well. Everyone that sees the car loves it. New rear brake shoes, rear wheel cyls, new master cyl. You do not see these 2 drhardtops very often. See the you tube video ; 52 studebaker HT For a full walk around video.
