Hi,I'm selling my VW '66 Bug.The body is solid throughout.
Minor chips and blemishes in the paint.
Clean interior.
The heater channels аre solid throughout. The muffler that's on there right now doesn't have heater boxes, so you'll need to swap it out if you want heat.
It's got a 4 inch narrowed beam up front, and is dropped 2 inches in the back.
The breaks are stock/drums all around.
The tires have some wear on them but are in good shape. The front tires are 195/45R15 78v Kumho Ecsta Spt Ku31. The rears are 195/60R15 Michelin Pilots.
12v Conversion.
New wiring throughout.
The engine is a dual port 1600. The case is a Mexican AS4, serial # - 043101102A, which puts it between Aug 1973 and July of 1980
Brand new Dual Redline Weber 34ITCs.
Runs and drives well.
The resto shop we bought the bug from said they did a tune up on the engine and fixed everything they could without taking the thing apart.
I've since, cleaned the gas tank, cleaned/replaced the fuel lines and swapped the worn 34 Pict-3 for the dual Weber 34s you see in the pics and have been tweaking things since then: additional return springs, tuning, etc. She fires up and runs just fine, though I haven't taken her on any long trips.
There are speakers, but no radio.
California title and registration.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures.
Thanks!
