For Auction: 1966 Ford F-250 two wheel drive pick-up. As per the Oregon Insurance card, this truck was in Oregon and came to South Dakota between 2005 and 2006 per previous owner registration. Also as stated on the insurance card this truck was equipped with a 1966 Nomad Camper. I am only assuming that the Nomad Camper was an integral part of the truck in that the camper was part of the body and that it did not have a regular pick-up box. The motor is the 352 V8 with four speed manual transmission and Dana 60 rear axle. The motor starts and runs very good. The transmission and clutch work as they should and the truck runs down the road at 65 mph fine. It had and still has an exhaust leak at the manifolds even after I milled the manifolds on a belt sander and replaced all gaskets and the muffler. Now for the really good part, since this truck was strictly a camper hauler I do not believe that it ever saw a winter on the road possibly up till the time it was brought to South Dakota and even the previous owner said the only thing he used it for was runs to the dump. That being said, the underside of the cab and the chassis of this truck is as spotless as you will find for an un-restored truck. There is paint/undercoating pealing and under that is just clean body, it is amazing. The replacement box, on the other hand, is very nice as far as straightness, good tailgate, etc., but there must have been dirt, leaves etc. left in the front of the box and it is rusted through. Not a bad fix, especially if one was to line the box when restoring. This truck is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for looking, Collin
