1940 Ford Deluxe 2 Door Sedan, Original, SCTA, Nice Car

Up forsale is a real nice original "Garage" find. As you can tell from the license plate this car had been stashed away in a garage since 1977. I brought it home, hooked up gas from a can and it popped right off.

From that point I put in new ignition parts, plugs, points, wires, new water pumps, "Tanks" poly gas tank, rebuilt carb, fuel pump, rebuilt the brakes with new master cyl, wheel cylinders, shoes and turned drums, also a new battery and tray.

The car steers, runs, drives and stops nice.

The car is completely original paint with some primer spots and some bumps and bruises which should be able to be seen in the pictures. It has the original interior with everything there except the inner door panels.The only rust problems are some mud in the rear tool tray. (very common)And another common deal in the north country is a soft drivers side floor pan from melted snow off your boots. Otherwise everything is completely solid.

The glass has some cracks and edge clouding. The only other complaint I have about the car is that the grille center section is some type of old reproduction. The only thing I didn't get to yet is hooking back up the rear taillights.

I have a clear title in hand.
