98 F150, 4x4 Lariat, 126k, 4.6L, auto, power windows, locks, cruise, cd changer, cold ac, dual exhaust, decent tires, body in great shape. Replaced radiator a month ago with brand new one for $180. Old one started leaking. Front tires worn on inside so I assume needs alignment. The truck is due for its 100k normal maitenance. Has cracked windshield, 3rd door won't open. After last heavy rain, the truck developed a misfire and rough idle, also the turn signals, speedometer and 4x4 all quit at same time as well. Took it to Ford and they told me it needs a GEM and possibly fuse block on the inside. The GEM mounts to the back side of the fuse block. This apparently is a common problem with these model trucks. Just don't have the funds for it to be repaired and honestly never drive the truck anymore. Kbb in Fair condition is $5,291.00. For a few hundred bucks everything can be fixed (4x4, turn signals, & speedometer). $2800 firm. clear clean title. Still can drive it wherever you want just has a rough idle and slight misfire. Sold as is and I am not a mechanic so the information I have given was passed on to me from a Ford Technician. Truck got driven 2 times a month for 14 years. Thats why mileage stayed so low. This is a 18 year old truck and is not perfect. Be great for someone the is mechanically inclined.
