Description

1986 Lincoln: Mark VII LSC Hot Rod 612HP 6 Speed Manual Cobra Mustang Drivetrain

If you're interested in the quickest and best-looking Lincoln Mark VII LSC on the planet, you've come to the auction you can't refuse! Honestly, my Lincoln (personally owned and not a dealer) has been through the dyno at 612 documented horsepower, as well as run the 1/4 at 11:24. She's a luxury beast with a beautiful build from top to bottom with no expense spared on the chassis, paint and attention to detail. While there's too much to list, she has 17K in the drivetrain alone with a comp XE hydraulic dual roller cam (nice mild rumble), ceramic headers, Edelbrock EFI intake, MSD ignition and, best of all, a Tremec T-56 6-speed conversion. It's nothing but fun and that is what I had all summer and it's time to let her go with someone who has the room for storage... I have too many toys to give her a spot.
The body is in 100% MINT condition with not a single scratch or ding anywhere and the Sandalwood paint is like showroom. The undercarriage is also rust free, as the 2 owner car spent all of its life in Kentucky. The Saleen replica wheels really set the car off with massive 285/40 meats on the back and a cool Lincoln center cap in the middle. I also love the conversion to halogen fog lamps, custom exhaust tips and the little SVT logo on the trunk... again, just nice details in the finish of this build.
The interior is near mint with an outstanding manual conversion (big job!) to a nice set of racing pedals and a console shifter that looks factory. Believe me, people will be scratching their heads and asking a myriad of questions about the manual setup... even the gearheads! Yes, the antenna works, yes the clock works and yes... even the air ride system still works perfectly and makes that quaint little squeak when you get out of the car. And no, not a single of the plethora of warning lights on this LSC are on when you start her up and go down the road. The leather is in great shape with no rips, but the driver's seat is cracking in spots. Other than that minor issue, the interior is immaculate.
I put in a new window motor, battery, rear stabilizer bars, refined header bolts, lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods replaced since I've owned the car. She had a wheel alignment completed and full synthetic oil change. She starts up, shifts, stops and handles like a Mustang Cobra with all the amenities of a Lincoln LSC such as power windows, locks, seats, tilt, custom cruise, leather and a brand new air conditioning unit that still needs to be charged. In the future, I would suggest a new clutch, as it is beginning to slip and new forks for 3rd gear, as I have to hold it in place to keep it from jumping out. As you can tell from my 2,400 all positive eBay comments, I want to be up front so that you're happy with your purchase.
As you can see from the pictures, my Lincoln comes with manuals, documentation and a ton of parts, including paint, the factory pedals and air conditioning unit, extra leather and the list goes on and on. Basically, it a unique build with prominence and I'm not selling it to make money... I'm just an old retired guy who loves cars and wanted to have some fun this summer... and I DID!
Please don't offer any low ball offers, as I'm offering this car with no reserve for a low ball price. I paid 10K for it back in February and put another 1-2K in her, so a starting bid of $6,900 is well below the worth of the drivetrain alone. It's a special one-of-a-kind car that will never be put up for sale anywhere else and I'm willing to take a loss, but not a bath!

Please keep in mind that this is a no reserve auction and your bid is a legally binding agreement to purchase the vehicle. If you make a bid, I'll assume that you've already kicked the tires, asked the significant other and have funds available. Also, ask any and all questions before making a bid, as I want to make sure you know everything you need to before making your decision.
Feel free to have the car inspected or come by to take it for a test drive. I do reserve the right to end the auction early, as the car is also going to be up for sale today locally and I plan on putting it on Craigslist. The buyer will be responsible for having the car shipped, but I'll be happy to pick you up at Detroit Metropolitan Airport if you want to fly in and drive her home. A nonrefundable $500 deposit will be due via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end and full payment in the form ofclearedcertified check, Paypal or cash in person by 3 days with no exceptions.Thank you!
