The Borla style 2” reduced back-pressure exhaust system sounds like a sports car should (without being intrusive), and increases engine performance 10—15% (about 150HP). The only issue with NA series Miatas (90 - 97) is SRS/airbag concerns, so the system is disengaged but can be reversed. Historically, NA Miatas are known for 300,000 plus miles with proper care, and considered THE most overall enjoyable and low maintenance sports car on the market… I’ve been driving Miatas since they were first introduced, and this is one of the finest NA series I’ve seen.
