1968 1/2 Cobra Jet Mustang

1968 1/2 Cobra Jet Mustang other then paint touch-up car is original. A period correct CDI ignition is installed to the original points distributor. Engine/Transmission/clutch/rear axle never been removed. I have saved all parts, such as original starter/alternator/shocks/water pump/coil. Car has never been raced, for I know the original owner who purchased it in the Summer of '68. Buck and coil tags still attached as well as most chalk/paint marks. Have original to the car code dated new PolyGlas spare tire as well as original set (4) wheels/trim rings mounted with early 70's PolyGlas Tires. Vehicle has 50,000 mileage not 60,000 as incorrectly listed. Have original Ford 4 speed shifter handle that came with the car. The one pictured; is a late 60's unit, for when it was returned to Hurst last year for remanufacture, was told that it is a unique piece from that period that they rarely see. Paint/chrome has been hand polished thru-out it's life, hence the cause to it showing well, for the hood and it's signature black stripe, roof, decklid and all chrome is as it was at Dearborn MI in '68.

Some of you had asked to see the underside of the car. I am an Airline Pilot and will be out until at least Friday. Will then obtain a photo of the underside of the vehicle, trunk under the floor mat and post it. As you can see with one of the photos, it has Flowmaster exhaust, but is attached to the stock H pipe/exhaust manifolds. Please note that the interior is original, nothing has been replaced or ever removed.
