History: The car was originally purchased from Don Ramsfield Motors in Portland Oregon on May 29, 1984. The second owner purchased the car as a certified pre-owned Mercedes from Don Ramsfield Motors on January 25, 1989. I am the third owner and purchased the vehicle and took delivery on November 21, 2005. I purchased the car from the mother of one of my co-workers so I knew it had been well maintained. It was the first car she located and purchased on her own so it was very special to her. I have used it as my daily driver.
The car is in good condition. The interior is good. There is some lifting of the clear coat on the passenger fender. My neighbor, who owns a body shop, looked and it and said he thinks something like brake fluid was spilled and not cleaned properly. The rest of the clear coat is good. The paint is original other than the driver’s side fender. Something was dropped on the fender in the parking garage at work and made a small dent (about 3 inches long and very shallow). It was fixed through my insurance company. There are minor dings in the paint. It has never been in an accident to my knowledge. It is currently registered. It is smog exempt in California.
The car is being sold as is with no warranty. If you are local, I would encourage you to look at the car and would be happy to set up an appointment. Please contact me with any questions.
