99 Saleen Ford Explorer XP8 5.0 Supercharged RARE #20

VERY RARE SALEEN EXPLORER XP8 SUPERCHARGED AND INTERCOOLED #20

This is a very rare vehicle. Only about 125 made between 98-2000. This explorer is in great shape for the year. The leather has no rips or tears. The paint still shines good. Loaded Explorer with cd changer and sunroof. Everything works great and runs very good. No leaks underneath and shifts out great. I have a book with a lot of the service records, dyno sheets, performance add-ons, and a copy of the build sheet along with a copy of the listing in the Saleen Registry. So yes its real. The only thingI know it could use is a set of tires if you want to drive everyday or on a long trip. The tires are beginning to show their age. Now for the details.

This is a factory supercharged Explorer built by Saleen. It still retains the original Ford Motorsport SVO supercharger which I just rebuilt. It has new bearings, belt, and the previous owners already installed a smaller pulley and billet impeller. It has a new battery, windshield, Saleen windshield banner, headlights and foglight assemblies to include new bulbs, oil change and filter along with fuel filter, and new serpentine drive belt for the supercharger. The previous owner installed the air to water intecooler along with about $8000.00 in performance accessories which I have the receipts to show. This includes a built transmission with HD bearings shift kit and servo, a built rearend with Saleen diff. cover 4:10 gears, a larger throttle body and other performance accessories you can see in pics. It has the rareTorque Monster Headers along with custom exhaust. The suspension has been loweredwith biggerSaleen sway bars and slotted rotors. Dyno sheets show HP to the wheels around the 280-290 range. Not bad for a grocery getterwith the boost around the 6-8 psi range.It is pretty quick for its size and when it shifts it will snap you back.

This is a very rare vehicle that runs and drives great. The interior and body are in good shape for the year and miles. Yes it has been drove so not a low mileage garage queen. You can get this out and enjoy. I took to several shows and it will draw attention. I am selling due to another project I purchased and also have another Mustang I am working on.
