Description

1948 B-1-PW Power Wagon

Up forauction is one of the most desirable and collectible model of all the early Dodge trucks. The B-1-PW model PowerWagon. The is a civilian model 4x4 flat fender 1 ton long bed pickup. They were tough, expensive, and built in limited quantities.
This is a very solid and original truck. It still has the original wood in the bed! That says alot about the truck. This is not a pieced together truck. It is completely stock and original, with the exception of the wheels, paint, and interior. It has its original motor, trans, axles, winch, PTO, sheet metal, etc. It Even has its Original glass (a couple cracks).
The truck runs and drives good. Itis powered by its original 230ci 6-cylinder engine, including a 2-speed transfer case and a 4-speed transmission. It starts easy and the motor sounds good. It has working headlights, taillights, blinkers, horn, and heater. It has working 4x4, working PTO, and working Factory Installed Braden winch. I put 50 miles on it last weekend and it did fine. I had it at a local show and people swarmed it! Its fun to drive, but isn't getting you anywhere fast with the 5:38 gear ration.
It has a new master cylinder, new brake hoses, new battery, and a new fuel pump.
This truck is completely stock, with the exception of the wheels, tires, and 10 lug adapters. NO LIFT KIT, NO MODIFIED SUSPENSION.
The wheels, tires, and adapters were expensive. The adapters were custom built and are bolt on. They can be removed very easily if someone wanted to. They are 22.5 Alcoas with 42" semi truck mud / snow tires.

Included with the truck is 4 original wheels and tires, in good shape, all hold air fine.
This is a good solid(fairly)original truck. Its fun to drive and gets tons of attention. It is far from perfect, and is driver quality, not a concourse restoration.
These trucks are rising in value quick, there has been a few that broke $100k at auction this year. Here is your chance at an investment you can have some fun with.
Please take time to allow the pics to load. There are many high res images.
I encourage any interested buyer to come see the truck in person.

Please take your time to look through the photos and read the ad before calling. Serious buyers can contact me at314-393-0565.

I would prefer a cash deal, but I may possibly consider a partial trades for other high end classics or late model exotic. Also would consider a Skid Loader or MiniExcavator as partial trade. Email me with what you have to trade. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
