This Amphicar is an all original example that has been in the same family in Uganda for over 30 years. The car is one of three Amphicars imported into the country by the Ministry of Agriculture in the 1960's. After some years the cars were sold on auction and how lucky that my further emerged the winning bidder. My father also bought a Ford Cortina at auction from the charity Save the Children - A very old title of the ford Cortina is also attached just to prove the story.
Along the years, we abandoned one of the three amphies and it rusted away - its body with out the engine and transmission is also available for sale - its pictures are also attached if your interested, it will make sense to ship both in one container. The other amphicar sold last month to a buyer in Germany.
This particular amphicar was originally white but we repainted it red, it drives and swims finely, mechanically nothing to talk about, the new owner will only need to replace door seals.
The car is sold on a clear title, other documents like an export certificate will also accompany the car.
The car is for sale by a well known motor cross family in Uganda (GOOGLE ARTHUR BLICK UGANDA).
SHIPPING:Because Uganda is a landlocked country, there's some distance to Mombasa, the nearest port of pickup in Kenya so I advise arranging shipping directly from Kampala to wherever as its cheaper, there are many international shippers with offices in Kampala.
Further questions welcome.
