The Qvale Mangusta was initially intended at the reintroduction of the storied DeTomaso mark into North America during the late 1990s. The car was eventually marketed in the states as a Qvale and as the DeTomaso Bigua in the rest of the world. This Mangusta is perhaps the most reasonable entry point into low volume, coach built, Italian exotica currently available. Like all DeTomaso products, its powered by Ford mechanicals. This unit runs very well and is a blast to drive. Mechanical servicing is very reasonable given the domestic powertrain. The paint on this car is serviceable for a driver but not up to the standard of an exotic and should eventually be resprayed. Its fine for now but I would expect the next owner to want to tidy it up a bit. The interior is excellent and in very nice space. Typical to Italian cars of the era, acres of leather and impressive craftsmanship. A local viewing and inspection is welcome and encouraged with appointment. We are happy to help buyers worldwide with shipping and freight logistics.
